George Shinas to Appear at Frugal's May 16th

Australian wine maker and proprietor George Shinas will appear at Frugal MacDoogal's Nashville store, Friday afternoon May 16th, from 3 to 7 p.m. for a meet-and-greet and autograph event. There is no charge for the event and everyone is invited.

George will be signing bottles of his Shinas Estate "The Innocent" Viognier and "The Guilty" Shiraz.

George's Way of Doing Things

With an all consuming passion for perfection, George Shinas draws on time honored traditions producing handcrafted wines. In fact, the first vines on the Estate were planted in 1898. Shinas minimizes irrigation of the vineyard, which reduces cropping levels and enhances fruit quality.

The fruit is left on the vines long beyond traditional periods, allowing the intense flavors that characterize the wine, to develop. In true boutique style, only the highest quality fruit is selected for harvest. Barrel aged, the Guilty has a concentrated aroma of mature fruit, French Oak and flavors that are full, rich and rewarding.

Both The Innocent and The Guilty are limited production estate wines, each priced at just $18.99, and only a lucky few ever get to taste them. Here's your chance to not only taste the wine, but to meet the winemaker without going to Australia.
