Angel's Landing Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir 2010

Angel's Landing Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir 2010 15.99/750 ml.
Tasting notes: "Angels Landing has become a household name for great quality just like Robert Mondavi, Joseph Phelps, etc. Not only do they make a great Napa Cabernet for the money, a Napa Merlot made more in the style of Pomerol, but also this Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir that drinks more like a $30 bottling. Packed with plenty of ripe cherries, blackberries, and plum. Very silky on the mid-palate and the finish. It also is not overdone with the oak. Just the great fruit flavors you get from ripe Pinot Noir."

Angels Landing Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon 2010

Angels Landing Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon 2010 17.99/750 ml.
This is one of our best selling Napa Cabs because of its outstanding value. Tasting notes: "The 2010 Angels Landing Cabernet Sauvignon, with its ripe black fruits and tannic structure tastes like a hypothetical blend of a rich valley floor Cabernet from Oakville and a structured Howell Mountain Cabernet. Aromas of blackberries on the nose. On the palate there is black currant, some cassis, dark chocolate, mocha, and good structure. The finish is long with tannins that are silky with some of the cassis fruit mixed in."

Boxhead Australia Cabernet Sauvignon 2010

Boxhead Australia Cabernet Sauvignon 2010 11.99/750 ml.
Winery notes: "This wine may look cute and cheeky at first, but underneath all that, she's got a layer of intensity you might never expect. Strong, rich and full-bodied, she's anything but boring, and certainly the type that you should never make the mistake of underestimating. This shows hints of herbaceous cabernet combined with rich fruits of ripe raspberry and currant. The palate is equally rich, with intense red fruit, herbaceous mint and smoky oak combined with strong tannin structure, balanced acid and layered finish. McLaren Vale. 50% Stainless, 50% 10 months once-used and seasoned oak. 15% ABV."

Boxhead Australia Shiraz 2010

Boxhead Australia Shiraz 2010 11.99/750 ml.

Medium-full bodied, crisp and with a medium level of chewy tannins, it finishes with good persistence giving lingering licorice notes. 15% ABV."

It is a fruit forward, supple wine that is perfectly counterbalanced by a good tannic structure and an elegant finish. This wine will be great with beef wellington, casseroles, steak and kidney pudding, roast duck and even lightly spiced, rich oriental dishes."
