Banfi Tuscan Blends 8.99/750 ml.
Choices: Colle Pino Sangiovese Merlot 2005, Col Di Sasso Cabernet Sangiovese 2005, Le Rime Chardonnay Pinot Grigio 2007

Marquis Philips R Wines Roogle Riesling 2007 10.99/750 ml.
This may just put Riesling back on the map. We expect most American and German rieslings to be too sweet for most occasions, and those from Alsace and Australia are typically bone dry and not what we expect for a riesling. Roogle Riesling gets it right with perfect balance, almost dry but with just enough residual sugar to coax a smile out of anyone. Robert Parker's Wine Advocate gave it 90 points. Reviewer Jay Miller's comments: "The 2007 Riesling is light straw-colored with a lovely perfume of mineral, spring flowers, and honeysuckle with a hint of tropical fruits in the background. Just off-dry (10 grams residual sugar), round, and intensely flavored, this is very sexy Riesling at a great price. Could this be the booty-call wine of the year?" The allotment is small. There won't be more until next year. Buy it now for the rest of the year.

Manifesto! Sauvignon Blanc 2006

Manifesto! Sauvignon Blanc 2006 11.99/750 ml.
"Gardenias and a rush of grapefruit and lemon zest fill the nose on a mineral foundation. The flavors reflect the nose, with tart citrus, pineapple and mouthwatering acidity and a lingering finish. This Manifesto! is also good for the conscience. The winery donates a portion of bottling line proceeds to charity, worker housing, Latino education in the Napa Valley and clean to clean drinking water."

Mad Housewife California Varietals 2006 7.99/750 ml.
Choices: Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Chardonnay. White Zinfandel is $6.99/750 ml.

Chateau Ste. Michelle Indian Wells Selections 17.99/750 ml.
Choices: Chardonnay 2006, Cabernet Sauvignon 2005, Merlot 2003. "The Indian Wells Series represents a collection of vineyards in hot central Washington that range from the Wahluke Slope to Cold Creek and span both banks of the Columbia River. The region includes the Indian Wells Vineyard, namesake and inspiration for the signature style of these wines."

Mozares Rueda Verdejo 2006 11.99/750 ml.
Rueda is the region in Spain and Verdejo is the grape. "This wine is a yellow color with greenish undertones. The aroma is an exotic mixture of gooseberry, apricots and fresh hay, while the ample palate is dry on the finish."

Clava Casablanca Valley Sauvignon Blanc 2006 12.99/750 ml.
"Diamond-cut and dazzlingly pure, this Sauvignon Blanc represents the finest in natural winemaking in the Casablanca Valley. If you are a fan of New Zealand Sauvignon, this flavorful and fresh white will surely win your affection (if not on price alone!) Delicious perfumes of pear and tangerine waft over a lush nose, while juicy, brisk and tantalizing flavors of ripe apple and grapefruit keep the mouth alive."

Black Opal Australian Magnums 8.99/1.5 Liter
Choices: Cabernet/Merlot, Shiraz, Chardonnay.

Hentley Farms Mallee Sands Barossa Chardonnay 2005

Hentley Farms Mallee Sands Barossa Chardonnay 2005 10.99/750 ml.
A peachy, punchy Chardonnay. Full-bodied yet delightfully zesty and fresh with a lovely clean finish.

Yard Dog Australian Red or White Blends Vintage 2006

Yard Dog Australian Red or White Blends Vintage 2006 8.99/750 ml.
The current rogue vintners from Australia, Red Head Studios, have one of the hottest wines in our market right now. This ugly dog can hunt, and packs a lot of value into a "Go-To" red & white.

Premiére Vouvray 2004 11.99/750 ml.
Off-dry French Chenin Blanc.

Ecco Domani Italian Pinot Grigio or Merlot 8.99/750 ml.

Grand Cru California Varietals 4.99/750 ml.
Choices: California Cabernet 2005, Merlot 2005, Chardonnay 2006.

Kris Delle Venezie Pinot Grigio 2006 12.99/750 ml.

Napa Creek Napa Valley Chardonnay 2004 or Sauvignon Blanc 2006 9.99/750 ml.
Napa Valley Chardonnay usually costs at least double this price. Also available at the same line price: Napa Cab '06, Napa Merlot '03, and Stags' Leap District Petite Sirah '05.

Dominique Cornin Mâcon-Chaintré 2005 19.99/750 ml.
The Mâcon designation, especially when a village name accompanies it (in this case Chaintré), is a sign of great value in white Burgundies, which are made from Chardonnay. This wine has been spotted on F. Scott's wine list recently for $48.

Louis Métaireau Muscadet Sévre et Maine Sur Lie 2005 16.99/750 ml.
This is the black label offering, which is high quality. If you've never tried a Muscadet Sur Lie, please do. These wines personify the "minerally" descriptor and represent great value for money in French whites.

Four Vines Santa Barbara "Naked" Chardonnay 2006

Four Vines Santa Barbara "Naked" Chardonnay 2006 13.99/750 ml.
No oak, no cork, no bull, loads of pure Santa Barbara concentrated fruit.

A crisp (dry) white brimming with fruit in the nose, like a fresh fruit salad in a bottle. The blend is Semillon (65%), Riesling (30%) and Viognier (5%).
