Paso A Paso Spanish Verdejo 2009 4.99/750 ml.
Robert Parker's Wine Advocate score is 87 points. Reviewer Jay Miller's comments: "The 2009 Paso a Paso Verdejo is the first Verdejo produced from La Mancha. The advantage is that can be grown less expensively there with the question being how it compares in quality to those produced in Rueda. The answer seems to be so far, so good. It displays an enticing nose of spring flowers, nutmeg, cinnamon, and pit fruits leading to a crisp, vibrant tasty wine for enjoying over the next 12-18 months. Will go fast. While it lasts." Released at $10!
Joel Gott Monterey Unoaked Chardonnay 2010 14.99/750 ml.
Winery notes: "Our Monterey Chardonnay is fermented in stainless steel, keeping the wine clean and crisp—just like our favorite Chablis. The cool, breezy weather of Monterey Bay allows for a longer period of maturation which allows the grapes more time to develop classic varietal characteristics. The climate produces a Chardonnay with aromas of orange blossom, green apple, and citrus and with a bright acid structure. The vineyards of Monterey consistently provide ideal fruit and exemplify our winemaking goal: a natural balance between sugar and acidity. Because of the low yields from this vintage, the fruit had intensified aromas and flavors, creating a more full-bodied, weighty wine."
Zonin Prosecco 9.99/750 ml.
Winery notes: "Very well-balanced and appealing, with the extremely delicate almond note that is typical of Prosecco. Prosecco is a lively, sparkling wine that is essential to having fun Italian-style. It is dry and food friendly and adds an element of festivity to any gathering or meal. Prosecco's fresh and fruity flavor profile make it easy to pair with any kind of food and also makes it a delightful aperitif."
Alias California Chardonnay 2009 8.99/750 ml.
Winery notes: "The 2009 Alias Chardonnay is a blend of Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, Gewurztraminer and Riesling. Beautiful citrus flavors balance against slightly softer tropical fruit and honey apricot notes. We're not big fans of heavy oak or butter in our Chardonnay, but we do think it is part of classic California style. The fruit and balanced acid are the heroes in this enjoyable wine, but there is just enough vanilla oak and creaminess to please everyone at the party."
Meridian California Chardonnay 2010 Magnums 13.99/750 ml.
New to the store in Magnum format (1.5 Liter) are Meridian Chardonnay and Merlot. This new format is both more convenient and economical. Winery notes: "Notes of apple blossom and vanilla mingle pleasingly on the nose along with red apple, fresh pear and vanilla. Pineapple and cantaloupe are evident on the palate with a subtle hint of shortbread. This well-balanced California Chardonnay finishes with a nice acidity that is perfect on its own or paired with a variety of food."
Clos du Bois Chardonnay 2010 8.99/750 ml.
Clos du Bois Chardonnay is one of California's most recognized white wines; always dependable with its ripe apple-like flavors and fine palate feel. Winery notes: "Our Classic Sonoma County Chardonnay exhibits ripe fruity flavors of pear, crisp green apple, vanilla and toasty caramel. A medium-bodied wine, approximately 70% is barrel-fermented to integrate fruit and oak flavors. Partial malolactic fermentation adds a rich texture and buttery component on the palate. This Chardonnay is perfect for sipping alone or with fish, chicken or lighter pasta dishes."
Babarosa Moscato D'Asti 12.99/750 ml.
Sweet sparkling Italian moscato; 5.5% alcohol.
Natale Verga NV Prosecco 10.99/750 ml.

The Dreaming Tree Central Coast Chardonnay 2010 13.99/750 ml.
The Dreaming Tree wine label is a collaboration between musician Dave Matthews and wine maker Steve Reeder. Winery notes: "When I first met Dave, we talked about making a Chardonnay that captured the distinct citrus notes of the Central Coast. With its big fruit and loads of spice, we think this wine lives up to that promise. We hope you agree. - Steve Reeder. "
Jacob-Heims Steep Slope Harvested Riesling 2010 12.99/750 ml.
Tasting notes: "From the steep slopes of the mighty Mosel River in Germany comes one of our best values. Offers luscious orange, grapefruit, tangerine and lime, mixed with ripe peach and mineral overtones and finishing with fantastic grapefruit acidity. Make this your next "go to" German Riesling."
St. Francis Sonoma County Chardonnay 2009 12.99/750 ml.
Winery notes: "This ripe, lush, direct Chardonnay is a classic Sonoma expression of the grape, with overt tropical fruit and apple flavors, rich toasty oak notes and a crisp, supple finish." Regular price is $15.99. (Vintage shown is 2008, but 2009 is currently in stock.)
Marilyn Sauvignon Blonde 2010 14.99/750 ml.
Winery notes: "The label of Sauvignon Blonde 2010 features perhaps the best-known image of Marilyn Monroe. It is the scene in The Seven-Year Itch where she is standing on a New York City subway grate when a passing train sends up a breeze that billows her dress. The 2010 vintage Sauvignon Blonde is a 100% varietal from the Yountville district of Napa Valley. Varietal aromas are a distinct combination of ripe grapefruit and pineapple lending to a classic balance of Sauvignon Blanc characters. The flavors are fruity, crisp and lingering.

Natale Verga Moscato D'Asti 2010 11.99/750 ml.
Winery notes: "Slightly sweet and frizzy with flavors of peaches and honeydew melon. This famed wine from the Piedmont region is like sipping sweet, bubbly nectar. Highly aromatic and loaded with succulent apricot, peach and crisp red apple notes, the wine finishes clean and is never sugary or cloying. A delight with pound cake or chocolate truffles." Alcohol content is low at 5.5%.
Cakebread Napa Chardonnay 2008 48.99/750 ml.
A classic Napa Chardonnay, this wine shows a fragrant varietal nose of white fruits and subtle vanilla with toasty nuances highlighting pear, pineapple and melon flavors set in a supple discreet oak structure.
