Paso A Paso Spanish Verdejo 2009 4.99/750 ml.
Robert Parker's Wine Advocate score is 87 points. Reviewer Jay Miller's comments: "The 2009 Paso a Paso Verdejo is the first Verdejo produced from La Mancha. The advantage is that can be grown less expensively there with the question being how it compares in quality to those produced in Rueda. The answer seems to be so far, so good. It displays an enticing nose of spring flowers, nutmeg, cinnamon, and pit fruits leading to a crisp, vibrant tasty wine for enjoying over the next 12-18 months. Will go fast. While it lasts." Released at $10!
Blackstone California Merlot 2009 6.99/750 ml.
Winery notes: "Our Merlot is our signature style, with rich fruit aromas, supple oak characteristics and soft tannins. You'll discover dark cherry and berry aromas with a touch of clove to please the palate. The texture is ripe and soft in the mouth, with a smooth, lingering finish." Regular price is $8.99. Limited time price.
Joel Gott Relative Red 2009 13.99/750 ml.
A California red wine blend of Zinfandel, Syrah, and Cabernet Sauvignon. Winery notes: "The 2009 Relative Red opens with focused aromas of leather and spices with subtle hints of strawberry and burnt tar.The big, dense mid-palate features sweet and spicy fruit, soft tannins, and deep, dark, rich tones. The wine finishes with a beautiful structure. The fruit for Relative Red comes from locations throughout California, including Lodi, napa Valley, and Knights Valley. Family is an essential pillar that supports much of what we do here at Joel Gott wines. Both our work families and our home families are made up of diverse yet connected elements that come together to create enjoyable, fun experiences. This wine is no different; it carries the name, Relative, as a nod to the family that created it and the elements of which it’s composed. The resulting wine is our finessed and structured version of a ready-to-drink red blend."
A-Mano Primitivo Puglia 2008 9.99/750 ml.
Bottle notes: "A Mano Primitivo (the same grape as Zinfandel - but Italian) is loaded with ripe red berry fruit and soft tannins. The flavors conspire to explode in the mouth and make you hunger for more."
Joel Gott 815 California Cabernet Sauvignon 2009 14.99/750 ml.
Winery notes: "The Joel Gott 2009 815 Cabernet Sauvignon offers engaging and layered aromas of blackberry and dark plum with hints of spice, cedar and vanilla. The polished tannins and velvet texture lead to an elegant and long finish. We shop California’s premier wine growing regions including Napa, Lake County, Mendocino, Lodi and Sonoma for the 815 blend. The Cabernet Sauvignon from Napa is complex with great depth. Lake County fruit provides the wine with minerality and rich texture, while the Mendocino fruit supplies spice and bright red fruit character. The Lodi component shows dark fruit and soft texture and the Sonoma fruit also adds a touch of spice and fruit. The blend from these vineyards and regions results in a beautifully orchestrated wine."
Joel Gott Monterey Unoaked Chardonnay 2010 14.99/750 ml.
Winery notes: "Our Monterey Chardonnay is fermented in stainless steel, keeping the wine clean and crisp—just like our favorite Chablis. The cool, breezy weather of Monterey Bay allows for a longer period of maturation which allows the grapes more time to develop classic varietal characteristics. The climate produces a Chardonnay with aromas of orange blossom, green apple, and citrus and with a bright acid structure. The vineyards of Monterey consistently provide ideal fruit and exemplify our winemaking goal: a natural balance between sugar and acidity. Because of the low yields from this vintage, the fruit had intensified aromas and flavors, creating a more full-bodied, weighty wine."
Milbrandt Columbia Valley Cabernet Sauvignon 2008 13.99/750 ml.
Winery notes: "Our 2008 Traditions epitomizes Eastern Washington Cabernet. It is dark, harmonious and complex with black cherry, plum, cassis, vanilla, spicy oak, chocolate, dried herbs and a whiff of mint. While it is soft on the palate there are enough fine-grained tannins to lend an approachable, velvety structure. Open a bottle with roasted meats, stews, lamb kebabs, cassoulet, hamburgers, barbecue, ribs, sloppy joes, tacos or pizza. Composition: 81% Cabernet Sauvignon, 9% Merlot, 6% Petit Verdot, and 4% Malbec." Wine Spectator 89 points; Tasting notes: "Polished and generous, with currant, blackberry and espresso flavors that glide smoothly through the expressive finish."
Zonin Prosecco 9.99/750 ml.
Winery notes: "Very well-balanced and appealing, with the extremely delicate almond note that is typical of Prosecco. Prosecco is a lively, sparkling wine that is essential to having fun Italian-style. It is dry and food friendly and adds an element of festivity to any gathering or meal. Prosecco's fresh and fruity flavor profile make it easy to pair with any kind of food and also makes it a delightful aperitif."
Cave De Rasteau La Domelière Côtes Du Rhône Villages 2009 13.99/750 ml.

Get it while it's here, and see why Wine Spectator rates it 90 points, and put it on their Annual Top 200 list. Here's what they said: "Ripe and well-focused, delivering a dark beam of plum, fig sauce and graphite, laced with hints of lavender and pastis. Very solid, with nice buried acidity holding the finish together. Drink now."
Alias California Chardonnay 2009 8.99/750 ml.
Winery notes: "The 2009 Alias Chardonnay is a blend of Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, Gewurztraminer and Riesling. Beautiful citrus flavors balance against slightly softer tropical fruit and honey apricot notes. We're not big fans of heavy oak or butter in our Chardonnay, but we do think it is part of classic California style. The fruit and balanced acid are the heroes in this enjoyable wine, but there is just enough vanilla oak and creaminess to please everyone at the party."
Garnet Monterey Pinot Noir 2010 14.99/750 ml.
Winery notes: "Dark garnet in color, the wine offers great balance and purity of flavor, with strawberry and rhubarb jam, mineral, spice and violets. It's full-bodied, fresh and lively."

This well-balanced California Chardonnay finishes with a nice acidity that is perfect on its own or paired with a variety of food."
Clos du Bois Chardonnay 2010 8.99/750 ml.
Clos du Bois Chardonnay is one of California's most recognized white wines; always dependable with its ripe apple-like flavors and fine palate feel. Winery notes: "Our Classic Sonoma County Chardonnay exhibits ripe fruity flavors of pear, crisp green apple, vanilla and toasty caramel. A medium-bodied wine, approximately 70% is barrel-fermented to integrate fruit and oak flavors. Partial malolactic fermentation adds a rich texture and buttery component on the palate. This Chardonnay is perfect for sipping alone or with fish, chicken or lighter pasta dishes."

Marilyn Sauvignon Blonde 2010 14.99/750 ml.
Winery notes: "The label of Sauvignon Blonde 2010 features perhaps the best-known image of Marilyn Monroe. It is the scene in The Seven-Year Itch where she is standing on a New York City subway grate when a passing train sends up a breeze that billows her dress. The 2010 vintage Sauvignon Blonde is a 100% varietal from the Yountville district of Napa Valley. Varietal aromas are a distinct combination of ripe grapefruit and pineapple lending to a classic balance of Sauvignon Blanc characters. The flavors are fruity, crisp and lingering.
"

Highly aromatic and loaded with succulent apricot, peach and crisp red apple notes, the wine finishes clean and is never sugary or cloying. A delight with pound cake or chocolate truffles."
